Konami Sports Club x Tokyo Midtown Clinic

Exercise instruction to be provided based on results of complete medical checkup starting November 2

Konami Sports & Life is partnering with Advanced Medical Care,Inc.(※1), which provides management support to Tokyo Midtown Clinic, to provide health management and exercise instruction as part of a fusion of sports club and medical institution services starting on November 2.

The partnership will involve a collaboration between Tokyo Midtown Clinic and two sports clubs operated by Konami, namely Konami Sports Club Otemachi and Konami Sports Club Aoyama and will support those for whom premium complete medical checkups indicate abnormalities in improving their lifestyle habits.

As part of this partnership, clinic director Junichi Taguchi will provide everything from diagnosis to follow-up advice.

First, Tokyo Midtown Clinic will provide information on exercises to those who undergo complete medical checkups and are found to need changes in their lifestyle habits according to their physical condition.

Konami Sports Club will then prepare a short six-week program called "6 WEEKS" (※2)designed to improve the individual’s lifestyle habits based on the results and provide them with exercise and diet instruction.

On "6 WEEKS", a professional instructor will put together a program matching the individual’s physical condition based on the information provided by the clinic and will provide one-on-one exercise instruction at the club three times a week.
The instructor will also provide advice on daily exercise and diet.
During the program, progress is monitored by the individual, the clinic and the club, so the individual can work on improving their lifestyle habits in an effective manner.
At the end of the six weeks, the individual will receive advice at the clinic based on the progress they have made in improving their physical condition.
In this way, the know-how of Konami Sports Club and Tokyo Midtown Clinic will be utilized to provide individualized support for improving lifestyle habits.

(※2)"6 WEEKS" is a program designed to prevent lifestyle-related diseases by improving lifestyle habits, including diet and exercise, and was introduced at Konami Sports Clubs in 2003.
The program involves one-on-one instruction on how to perform various exercises, including strength exercises to improve base metabolism and increase physical fitness and aerobic exercises to burn fat, so it is safe and easy for beginners and those who are not used to exercising.
