Konami Sports Club Yokohama Introduces PRGR Science Fit

Besides the opening of its Konami Sports Club Golf Academy on September 28th, Konami Sports & Life Co., Ltd. introduced its second PRGR-manufactured Science Fit to Konami Sports Club Yokohama on September 19th. Konami Sports & Life Co., Ltd. continues to strengthen its golf operations as one of the company's core businesses targeting customer demand.

Designed to bring a scientific eye to club fitting, the Science Fit in Konami Sports Club Yokohama is a swing measurement device that brings together the best that science has to offer. It was introduced by PRGR at its company store" PRGR GINZA Shop & Studio" in August 2008, and then for the first time at a non-company store in Konami Sports Club Meguro in September 2009. The Science Fit does not rely solely on the experience and sensitivities of instructors like it has done in the past, but uses objective numerical analytical data.

Konami Sports Club Golf Academy in Konami Sports Club Yokohama will use the Science Fit to provide the club's top-level Premium course. Users are provided with higher value added lessons that offer individual instruction tailored to them based on their measurement analytical data.

Konami Sports Club Yokohama Introduces PRGR Science Fit

（※）PRGR Science Fit is a swing measurement device. Specifically, it includes the following:
1.Club-head behavior measurement device that measures head movement at impact that is otherwise imperceptible to the human eye;
2.Three-dimensional swing measurement device with magnetic sensors to visualize swing trajectory;
3.PRGR Swing viewer that records/examines swing trajectory and head movement; and
4.Initial trajectory measurement device that examines changes in trajectory of actual swings.

Konami offers the following three courses around which all lessons are organized:

1.Basic course
Group lessons based on the Trinity Method. The Trinity Method combines physical conditioning for swing development using Konami’s instructional fitness know-how with cutting-edge science using PRGR technology.

2.Personal course
This course further adds individual instruction based on physical swing analysis to the above Basic course.

3.Premium course
This higher value added course offers top-level scientific swing analysis, instruction, and club fitting using the Science Fit.
